Review: Krusovice Svetle

Krusovice was founded in 1517 as a royal brewery and is one of the oldest functioning breweries in the Czech Republic. Like many breweries in the area, it has been in and out of the hands of governments and private businesses for centuries.

Light gold with a really dense white head. Grassy malts with a strong hoppy edge in the aroma. Less hops on the tongue, in fact, a really mild flavour overall. Crisp and dry, however. Not a bad pilsner per se, but nothing to go crazy over.
