Review: Lemon Hart Rum
I hoped this stuff would be spiced or lemon flavoured, but nope, this is plain dark rum. As far as taste goes, this is pretty unimpressive, basic rum. I'd use it in a mix, wouldn't drink it straight. Got nothing really going for it, except for being around for 200 years. I feel so...underwhelmed. Doesn't even have a site!

Sorry to hear that, Lemon Hart is considered one of the worlds best rums for mixing. I believe you didn`t know what to expect. I should give it another chance. Seek out some good tiki drink reciipes on the net, there are many that uses LH rums, both the Jamaican and the Demerara.
The 151 demerara is very popular to use as a floater on especeially tiki drinks.
Spiced rum is an abomination before god and man. The only thing Lemon Hart has going for it is that it's almost certainly better than what you drink. It's a great rum, with a great tradition, at a great price.
I have 2 bottles of lemon hart rum
one open and one still sealed. I'm trying to find the date when it was bottled. I see some numbers on the bottom of the bottle. 18 17 72 18 is on the left side of the bottle, 17 is at the top and 72 on the right. I see someone says that the found no site for lemon hart.
if anyone can tell me what I'm missing please email me at kilroy1725@yahoo.com
